2020 A Year With Clear Vision
Foundation Scripture: Psalm 65:11 (NKJV) says, “You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.”
Regardless of what experts say about the current economic situation, I have good news for you! As a child of God who tithes, your blessings this year are not dependent on the ebb and flow of the stock market. You can expect good things to happen to you this year because God’s Word declares it: “You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance”!
How do you see it?
Great question! In order to see His paths dripping with abundance, you would need to follow Him, wouldn’t you? So to experience the Lord’s goodness and abundance this year, keep listening to and beholding His grace and finished work. It’s easy to follow His leading when you are tuned to and meditating on His grace. And when you tread where He treads, you will run right into the blessings that He has already prepared for you!
In Jeremiah 29:11 (NRSV) it says, “For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” So, in order to find out what plans He has for you, you need to receive communication from Him. You do that by hearing His Word through good preaching, because Romans 10:17 (KJV) says, “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Young’s Literal Translation says, “so then the faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God”. Once you have a good report on and of His good plan for your life, you need to meditate on it, day and night, enabling you may be careful to act in accordance with His plan that is revealed to you. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful. Being in His plan for your life is your protective place, your place of protection. Psalm 91 says:
1 You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty,
2 will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”
3 For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence;
4 he will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
Psalm 34:7 says, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.”
Here’s a revelation for you – when you are reading the Bible, and you see the phrase “The angel of the Lord”, it is Jesus. An angel of the Lord can be Gabriel, Michael, or another angel.
And those “who fear Him” (Jesus), that is, worship Him, have a reverential fear of Him because He is Almighty God, He delivers them.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night, or the arrow that flies by day,
6 or the pestilence that stalks in darkness, or the destruction that wastes at noonday.
7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
Because you are keeping your focus on Jesus and the truth that you have been redeemed from the curse.
8 You will only look with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, the Most High your dwelling place,
10 no evil shall befall you, no scourge come near your tent.
Or your house, or your property – draw a anointing around what our Heavenly Father has blessed you with and bind the evil one or his cronies from crossing the line!
11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up, so that you will not dash your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.
The lion, adder, and serpent are symbols of wicked spirits and demons under the control of Satan. The Bible is full of symbols and parables.
14 Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name.
15 When they call to me, I will answer them; I will be with them in trouble, I will rescue them and honor them.
The Holy Spirit will teach, lead, and guide you in your daily activities, providing you will listen, trust, and obey what He is communicating to you. Build that relationship!
16 With long life I will satisfy them, and show them my salvation.
Salvation includes His Shalom Peace, and power to use the talents He has provided you, to obtain wealth!
Therefore, going into the year 2020, let us, as Matthew 6:33 says, “…strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Remember, the kingdom of God is His way of doing things. And what are they? Receiving and functioning in His love, enough for others to see His love reflected in your actions in this life, being a blessing to them, that by your actions, they be attracted to Himself, and begin their own personal relationship with Him.
According to 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV) “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” Therefore, we just need to receive, believe, and act upon this truth, enabling all these things to come. We have divine favor in His sight!
Will you receive, believe, and act upon this truth! Your will is involved.
Amen.
