Spirit Food - August 2017

Once you are presented with what the Word of God has to say about an issue, you are responsible for receiving His love, grace, & favor; and the gift of His righteousness. Remember, you are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved by your Heavenly Father.

This month, let’s focus on the Wisdom of God

Your Heavenly Father has divine wisdom for you to succeed! It doesn't matter what issue, problem or scenario you may be facing right now, He truly has the solution for every single one of them.

Proverbs 4:7 – “Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom, and with all of thy getting get understanding.”

James 1:5 – “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; it shall be given to him.”

Our Heavenly Father loves you, and desires you to walk in His wisdom and have good success ... but you have to make the quality decision to receive His love and allow Him teach and train you. When you accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life, the Holy Spirit entered into you physical body (to dwell alongside your spirit … remember, we are spirit beings). When you established your relationship with the Creator of the Cosmos by accepting what Jesus did on the cross for all of mankind, you opened the opportunity for yourself to obtain the wisdom of the Creator. Himself (via the Holy Spirit) will provide you with the knowledge and understanding to “deal” with the affairs of this life! Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to teach and train us, providing His guidance and direction to make the correct decision for every circumstance encountered.

Many people, however, think that they will be successful if they have more money, only to discover that money does not always bring good success. We see in society today that some who make millions die of drug overdoses and such, so money is not the answer. Many people are miserable in this life who have a lot of money. I’ve heard it said that money just allows you to be a little more comfortable in your misery … and I suppose that could be proven to be true in some cases. But those people are still for the most part miserable. Others worry about time, thinking that if they just had more time, they could work toward being successful. That doesn't work either!

You don't need more time, money or any other human solution. You only need one thing: God's divine wisdom!

Wisdom comes as you develop your relationship with Him and find out what His Will is for your life on this earth. As your relationship is developed with Him (through His Word and fellowship with other believers), truths you did not know before will be revealed to you, enabling you to make better quality decisions in every area of your life.

Understand that every human being has a purpose in life. Our Creator has placed within each and every one of us a desire to accomplish something. Our Heavenly Father has put a talent within each of us, and a desire to pursue it. What’s the saying … everybody’s got a dream. Some pick acting, some pick singing … whatever it is, if it’s legal, and not immoral, it is there for a reason. As you grow in your relationship with Our Heavenly Father, the Holy Spirit will guide and direct your path in life. Being in His Will is your healthy place. Being in His Will is your wealthy place. Being in His Will is you place of security … your secret place … dwelling under the shadow of His wings (see Psalm 91).

I cannot stress enough how important it is for you to receive the wisdom that God has provided through His grace and love. Listen to what the Bible says about the importance of this kind of wisdom in Ephesians 1:17 - ...that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him...

Are you understanding this? The spirit of wisdom and revelation is in the knowledge of Jesus! The closer/deeper your relationship is … the more blessed you will be, enabling you to be a blessing to others!

The more you know Jesus and have a revelation of His unmerited favor in your life, the more you will experience the spirit of wisdom operating in your life. When you are flowing in the spirit of wisdom, there will be no impossible situation, unsolvable problem, or insurmountable crisis.

The wisdom of God in you will help you to successfully navigate through all your trials and cause you to prevail over all your challenges.

You may feel like you are stuck in a hopeless situation right now, but your story is NOT over yet. The Lord's promotion, blessing and provision are right around the corner.

Jesus is your wisdom and victory over every battle today!

Our Heavenly Father’s desire is that you will walk in a deeper relationship with Him and experience His divine wisdom. He truly loves you and His grace freely gives you His wisdom, enabling you to receive and walk in a life of wonderful blessings and good success.

Remember, it doesn't matter what battle you might be in right now. As you behold Jesus and His finished work at Calvary, His wisdom will fill your entire life, causing you to be successful and victorious in every circumstance.

If you’re reading this, but you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, and would like to, pray this prayer out loud in an audible voice:

Heavenly Father, your Word says in Romans 10:9-10- “that if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, that I would be saved. For with the heart one believes unto salvation.” I believe your Word, Heavenly Father, and confess Jesus Christ (the anointed one and His anointing) as Lord of my life now. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess that I was a sinner, but now I’ve been saved by Your grace, and in Your thoughts, I am now in right standing with You. I denounce Satan and all he stands for. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of Life. In Jesus Name. Amen (so be it).
