April 2016 Spirit Food

Once you are presented with what the Word of God has to say about an issue, you are responsible for receiving His love, grace, & favor; and the gift of His righteousness. Remember, you are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved by your Heavenly Father.

This month, let’s focus on being blessed!

Deuteronomy 28:3 - “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.”

When you accepted Jesus as the Lord of your life, you entered into the best inheritance available to mankind!

In this world’s way of thinking, it matters what position you hold in life’s journey. What company you work for is important to many. And to people who have not accepted Jesus as their Lord, they’re living by the world’s standards to achieve those goals. However, when you are where Our Heavenly Father desires you to be, that is your wealthy place.

The truth is, it is not the place that gets you the blessings, but whether God’s blessing is on you. And for you, a child of The Most High God, you are already blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 1:3) He has paid for your blessings with His blood. So the blessing is not on the land but on the man/woman!

2 Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

In Luke 6:6-11, Jesus was preaching in a synagogue when He saw the man with a withered hand. But He also saw superabounding grace around that hand for healing and wholeness. He sees differently from us. He sees the way things should be (the man’s hand being whole). He sees the kingdom of God is here, ever-present in any situation, with superabundant supply. We see only the visible, which is tangible, temporal and which seems so real to us. And the way this world thinks, they perceive it to be real.

Jesus saw superabounding grace on that withered hand for healing because you do not tell a man with a withered hand, “Stretch out your hand,” unless you see the supply, the superabundance for wholeness for that hand. Jesus called forth the superabounding grace to envelop that man’s withered hand, and the hand was made whole.

It is possible for someone who is sick to have superabounding grace on him and yet that superabundance of grace does not heal his body. It may be because he keeps acknowledging the lack, or the problem he is seeing in the natural, instead of focusing on the truth of what the word says. The individual may be more concerned with that which is visible and temporal, instead of calling forth, acknowledging and confessing the superabundance of Our Heavenly Father’s grace. When a person confesses his negative circumstance all the time, even though the superabounding grace is there, it is there in vain. We need to keep our focus on Jesus and the results of His finished work on the cross … and the superabundance of Our Heavenly Father’s grace will abound.

Jesus called forth life (into the man’s withered hand), and life sprang into visibility. We must call forth what we want to see. Say, “Father, I thank You that right now, though my (name your situation) is under attack, there is superabounding grace available for my situation, and I ask to have your superabundant grace applied. I call it forth and receive it now, in Jesus’ name. Amen!”

Don’t meditate/be conscious of what you see lacking or missing. Be conscious of God’s superabounding grace for you and avail yourself of it!

Once you have committed a situation to Jesus, take a firm stand in your scriptural belief in God’s Word. It is God’s Word that gives one the courage to say, “I have it!” If you say that you have it, you have it, and more will be given to you. But if you say that you don’t have it, when you actually do because God has freely given us all things (Romans 8:32), then even what you have will be taken away—not by God but by the devil! The devil does not want you to walk in God’s blessings. So when you say that you don’t have it, he can rob you of your blessings because he has your agreement!

When you need something, God says that you are to ask of Him. And when you ask, you are to believe that you receive it. (Mark 11:24) Say you already have it even if you don’t see it in the physical realm yet, and one day, you will see it! In doing this, you are calling for things that are currently not in this physical realm, to come into visible, tangible items. This is what was done to create the earth we live on!

God is not playing mind games here with His creation. God is telling us to call forth those things which don’t exist as though they do. (Romans 4:17)

Romans 8:37 - Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

God’s Word says that we are more than conquerors through Christ. Regardless of whether you choose to believe it or not, it is still the truth. When you choose to believe His Word is true, and act on it as it being the truth, is when you will see the results of your right believing. Because Jesus paid the price for mankind on the cross, we have been redeemed from the curse. We are not going to become healthy in every area of our lives, we already are. We may be experiencing some failures or setbacks in life right now, but only good will come out of our situations, because God says that “in all these things we are more than conquerors”. We have the victory!

God has placed us in Christ, whom He has exalted to the highest place in the universe. We are not trying to get to victory ground. We are already on victory ground. We don’t confess God’s Word to get victory. We confess His Word because we already have the victory. We don’t fight for victory. We fight already possessing victory.

Now, the devil will try to steal our victory. He will come against us with lies and fears, and cause us to be conscious of our failures, weaknesses and symptoms in all the areas we allow him to put negative thoughts in our mind. But keep your focus on Jesus and His finished work on the cross on/for our behalf; we are not trying to be healed. We are already healed because God’s Word declares that “by His stripes we are healed”. (Isaiah 53:5)

Remember, the moment you accept Jesus as your Savior, you were born again; and the new person inside you (the Holy Spirit) is more than a conqueror. You are already on victory ground and you have victory over every challenging situation in your life!

Galatians 3:6-14 - 6 Understand that in the same way that Abraham believed God and it was credited to him as righteousness,[a] 7 those who believe are the children of Abraham. 8 But when it saw ahead of time that God would make the Gentiles righteous on the basis of faith, scripture preached the gospel in advance to Abraham: All the Gentiles will be blessed in you. [b] 9 Therefore, those who believe are blessed together with Abraham who believed. 10 All those who rely on the works of the Law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone is cursed who does not keep on doing all the things that have been written in the Law scroll.[c] 11 But since no one is made righteous by the Law as far as God is concerned, it is clear that the righteous one will live on the basis of faith.[d] 12 The Law isn’t based on faith; rather, the one doing these things will live by them.[e] 13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us—because it is written, Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed.[f] 14 He redeemed us so that the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, and that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Those who believe in Our Heavenly Father’s Word, His superabounding love towards you as an individual, and who develop a personal relationship with Him, will come to see His Grace in action in your daily life.

We have been redeemed from the curse of the law because of what Jesus did on the cross, He paid the price for all sin, for all time, for all mankind … but if you are of the mindset to attempt to focus on keeping The Ten Commandants, you have chosen to attempt to keep the law, and as a result, have fallen from grace.

So, keep your focus on Jesus and His love for you! You’ll find life to be so much more enjoyable!

If you’re reading this, but you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, and would like to, pray this prayer out loud in an audible voice:

Heavenly Father, your Word says in Romans 10:9-10- “that if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, that I would be saved. For with the heart one believes unto salvation.” I believe your Word, Heavenly Father, and confess Jesus Christ (the anointed one and His anointing) as Lord of my life now. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess that I was a sinner, but now I’ve been saved by Your grace, and in Your thoughts, I am now in right standing with You. I denounce Satan and all he stands for. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of Life. In Jesus Name. Amen (so be it).

Congratulations! If this is your first time praying this prayer, please write and let us know!

Should you decide to give and financially support this ministry with gifts given in faith, I join my faith with yours to see the devourer rebuked (Malachi 3:11) and for you to receive a harvest; pressed down, shaken together and running over (Luke 6:38). Please remember to name your seed!
