Spirit Food - 2019

We at Mark Krom Ministries have been directed by the Holy Spirit to provide a series; we’ll call it “Spirit Food”. Our purpose in doing this is to assist you in your spiritual growth within the body of Jesus Christ (the anointed one and His anointing).

As the physical body requires food for nourishment, the spirit also requires feeding for spiritual growth. Hosea 4:6 says – “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge …”. Brothers and sisters in Christ, we truly desire you to live blessed lives in accordance with Deuteronomy 28:1-14. To live this type of life however, if you have not already done so, make the quality decision to make God’s Word the final authority in your life. These sessions will aid in your spiritual growth process. Once you are presented with what the Word of God has to say about an issue, you are responsible for receiving His love, grace, mercy & favor; and the gift of His righteousness. Remember, you are greatly blessed, highly favored, and deeply loved by your Heavenly Father.

Believe in the love of God!

Let’s look at 1 John 4:16 (NRSV) “So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.”

The key here is not only to know that God has love for us, but to believe (each one of us individually) that his love is specific to each one of us! Many believe in the general love of God for mankind (even satan and his cronies), but God desires you to know that he has specific love for you as an individual. That you were created his likeness and image, unique from everyone else in this world! Hold up your thumb and look at the thumb print on it, it (your thumbprint) is the only one exactly like it in the world! You are “thumb-body”!

In Hebrews 10:8 Jesus was talking to his Father saying “…sacrifices and offerings and burnt offerings and sin offerings” (these are offered according to the law)…

And then verses 9-10 say …

then he added, “See, I have come to do your will.” He abolishes the first in order to establish the second. And it is by God’s will that we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Jesus said the will of the Father is to abolish the first in order to establish the second. The first covenant (the covenant of law – The Ten Commandants) is gone – Jesus has established the second covenant (the covenant of grace).

God’s will is that you live in the freedom of his grace!

This is the foundation fo hearing God’s voice. When you, first and foremost, understand and find rest in the covenant of grace, then you will be able to discern God’s will for your daily decisions. But if you go through life under the law – focusing on your sins and your shortcomings – you are not on the same wavelength or frequency as God to hear what he desires for you. When you keep your focus on Jesus, God’s will becomes clearer and more evident. I like to think of it as the difference between being “sin-conscious” and “Son-conscious.”

Many believers today are missing fellowship with the Father because they have this “sin-conscious” mindset and are attempting to generate his approval by doing what they consider “good works”. They don’t come boldly into his throne room, they don’t sit at his feet, and they don’t hear his voice, because they are constantly aware of their sins. Jesus paid the price for your sin(s) through his sacrifice on the cross! The work is finished! The price has been paid!

You are no longer under the law! You are no longer a debtor … you are the very righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! (Romans 3:22)

I encourage you to receive and believe his love for you. If you’re reading this, but you have not made Jesus the Lord of your life, and would like to, pray this prayer out loud in an audible voice:

Heavenly Father, your Word says in Romans 10:9-10- “that if I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that and believe in my heart that You raised Him from the dead, that I would be saved. For with the heart one believes unto salvation.” I believe your Word Heavenly Father and confess Jesus Christ (the anointed one and His anointing) as Lord of my life now. I believe that You raised Him from the dead. I confess that I was a sinner, but now I’ve been saved by Your grace, and in Your thoughts, I am now in right standing with You. I denounce Satan and all he stands for. Write my name in the Lamb’s book of Life. In Jesus Name. Amen (so be it).

Congratulations! If this is your first time praying this prayer, please write and let us know!

Should you decide to give and financially support this ministry with gifts given in faith, I join my faith with yours to see the devourer rebuked (Malachi 3:11) and for you to receive a harvest; pressed down, shaken together and running over (Luke 6:38).
